In the shoreline, the children of the women competitors follow their mothers on foot shouting words of encouragement.
 
Along the Dipolog Boulevard, Mayor Roberto Uy, in checkered polo shirt, is joined by a jam pack of spectators to the Lumba sa Binigiw boat race.
 
 
A sight at the finish line also makes you want to breathe heavily as the participants catch some air after an exhausting event
 

 Allan Bengua hands off the 3rd prize envelope containing 500 pesos in cash to Lolita Elico.
