sTREETDANCING & FINAL sHOWDOWN

Sa gipahigayong Pagsalabuk street dancing ug final showdown didto sa Boulevard niadtong bisperas sa fiesta sa dakbayan, migulang mananaug ang Barangay Estaka ug maoy nakadawat sa unang ganting salapi nga P80,000.

Ang nakakuha sa ikaduhang dapit mao ang Barangay Biasong nga nakadawat sa ganting P50,000 ug ang ikatulo mao ang Barangay Miputak nga nakadawat sa P30,000. Ang tanang misalmot apan wala magpakadaug nakadawat ug tag P15,000 matag usa isip consolation prizes.

Adunay laing mga special awards nga gihatagan ug tag P5,000 matag usa: Best in Musicality – Barangay Sicayab; Best in Choreography – Barangay Estaka; Best in Story – Barangay Central; Best in Costume – Barangay Biasong; ug Best in Street Dancing – Barangay Biasong

 

City Councilor Alton C. Ratificar, also known as the Father of Pagsalabuk Festival, envisions a nationwide participation and a global mass media presentation for the City of Dipolog making its mark in the international map of culture and the arts.

The entry who won the Best in Story category was performed well by the Barangay Central contingent.
 

The contingent from Barangay Biasong won the prestigious Best in Streetdancing award.
 

The Best in Choreography was bagged by the contingent from Barangay Estaka
 

The Best in Costume award went to Barangay Biasong
 

Barangay Sicayab garnered the Best in Musicality award.
 
Miputak Barangay Captain Janus Yu gladly receives the cash prize worth P30,000 for winning 3rd place in the Pagsalabuk Final Showdown competition.
 
On the other hand, Hon. Bert Saso, Chairman of Barangay Biasong, receives the 2nd place award worth P50,000
 
And the winner of the Final Showdown of the 2006 Pagsalabuk Festival is Barangay Estaka headed by its Barangay Captain, Hon. Carlito Ortega.
 


Brgy. Captain Ortega receives the Champions trophy and cash prize worth P80,000.00 from the Chairman of the Pagsalabuk Festival, City Councilor Alton Ratificar.
 
Everyone gets excited after receiving their championship award including Brgy. Estaka’s Pagsalabuk Queen, Ms. Almira Acoymo (center).
