Rotary Club of Dipolog facilitates 1st PAGSALABUK KITE FLYING competition

In line with the celebration of the 7th Dipolog Pagsalabuk Festival, the Rotary Club of Dipolog with its chairman Mr. Bryan Lim together with Mr. Lyndon Seediet facilitated a kite flying competition last May 25, 2005, 2:15 in the afternoon at the Foreshore and Development Project.

Registration started at about 1:00 o’ clock in the afternoon and before it the registration was closed, kite flying enthusiasts were busy preparing their kites and observing the air direction in order to come up with a good strategy. There were some who made and registered their kite at the last minute. Kites of different sizes, colors, shapes and designs were the main attraction at the moment.

Amazing as what The Daily Dipolognon has observed, the contestants, facilitators as well as all of the spectators of the said event ignored the warmth of the summer breeze, what matters most is the fun and thrill of seeing the kites fly up into the air over the picturesque Dipolog Boulevard.

Kite registration started at about 1:00 o’ clock in the afternoon.
